The problem is you’re adding hose water as you called it. Hose water is full of contaminants. You never gonna get that out of your system. If you wanna flush it you must use distilled water. Never introduced anything other than for gold coolant and distilled water into the cooling system because you’ll never get it out.

Ford Gold is a terrible coolant. Zerex yellow is much better for diesel engines.

@@473828 Maybe. However My 2005 f250 has more than 450,000 miles and I have been using ford gold the whole time with no problems. Engine and components all original with exception of radiator which was just replaced with mishimoto. For General maintenance I filled and flushed with distilled water several times until clear and then finally refilled system using ford gold and distilled water approximately every 100,000 miles. Ford. Gold is cancer to the power stroke as ironic as it sounds… Cat ELC is the best coolant for it look it up on the internationals build spec, they call for cats ELC
