I think Yamaha have done really well with this. Used to play with a Roland VR760 and I miss it. The YC61 is very tempting! Thanks for the video 👏🏼👏🏼😊

Are there any mounts for a music stand on the YC61? I don't see any, there is no music stand listed as an accessory, and no reference to one in the user manual. Bummer for those of us that play from lead sheets, Real books, or take music lessons.

Hello youtube. Can you set up a split with organ engine on one side and keys engine on the other? Could only find references to splits within the sections.

NEBULA 069, yes. Open the manual to page 10. Note the split button in the organ section with L for lower and U for upper.

@@ecuadorrealestatevideos1097 I know you can split within the organ section, as you can on all these organ emulation boards. Not asking about that. Asking about whether you can split between organ and the other sections

NEBULA 069, it is the same thing. You select which side of the board you want the organ, then do the same thing for the keys sections (only there they call it LR), then adjust your split point in the live set section. Page 14 describes the LU modes. I have the CP88. It works basically the same way.

@@ecuadorrealestatevideos1097 Ok, great to know. So this board is just really perfect for lightweight gigging.

@zioguido 6.00 that rotary speaker noise sounds like vb3! What do you think of Yamaha's sound here? Looks like a lot of similarity with the mojo 61. But do they have your devotion and passion to getting the details correct in the Hammond and all other sounds?

Please do a sound comparison of YC61, Roland VR09, Nord Stage/Electro, and Hammond SK1/2 plugging all into a Leslie 3300. As owner of B3/Leslie 122 setup, I know that plugging even a real B3 into a keyboard amp instead of Leslie results in sound more like a Vox organ than B3 as we're used to. Demo with Leslie will boost the clones' authenticity, B3/Leslie rich fatness by 1000 percent. Onboard Leslie sims don't cut it compared to Leslie 3300 into good recording microphone. Viscount and SK1 or 2 aren't bad for sims, but still don't get the true Leslie overall sound. These You Tube B3 clone demos all sound thin, canned, especially top octave. It's mostly a problem of keyboard amp or directly routing clone with onboard rotary sims into a recording console.

Ha ha I can see him thinking ...'dont mention Hammond, don't mention Hammond ™️™️™️

It’s all about the ‘tone wheel ‘ and ‘Rotary speaker’. Definitely NOT allowed to mention the Term/Brand Hammond and Leslie . But i like the way the demonstrators cheekily get around it LOL
