The way the Madoka Magic, Evangelion, Serial Experiment Lain and Wonder Egg Priority footage is synced up to such specific lyrics in here is chilling. Though I think the most chilling here is - if I’m correct I think I see - the SA scene from Perfect Blue. I love how the tuning for the final chorus at 3:15 is a bit different from Weevil’s tuning. Usually I’d complain but I think this is a really good way of taking advantage of Teto’s note switching. It feels almost distorted either like she’s choking or the footage is corrupting.
