Well thank you! Can you tell me how to set a user folder so that the presets will begin to show up in my User portion of my Syntronik Browser? Its not working at the moment. No matter how often I try to save new presets, the new user presets don't show up where they belong, then they suddenly show up somewhere else (not in the user folder- on the browser. I'm beginning to think this vst doesn't know to scan its directories when you save items, and its necessary to reload it. But also, it makes no sense to have user folders for every single "instrument" of the 34 in Syntronik now. I'm hoping someone will clarify where the Main User Folder belongs, and how to get it to scan and show the user their user presets. ---------------------

Sorry, it's been years since I've used Syntronik. I changed computers and haven't re-installed this one. I remember saving user presets, but I don't recall having this issue.

@@InTheMixReviews I talked to support after commenting, and they said indeed there's no way to have user folders. If we want our user content to be separate we can use the DAW preset capability, or put a set of characters in front of our user presets as we create them.

nice to have a lady-instructor for a change. i'm having trouble getting Syntronic to automate in ableton LIVE....any suggestions or clue as to what i might be missing?

Ok...What controller are you using? Are you sure the controller is set up properly and all that? In fact just to make sure, why don't you launch Syntronik in Standalone mode and see if it's actually responding to the controller. I'm pretty sure the problem is on the controller/DAW side rather than a Syntronik issue.

problem isn't with the Novation Impulse....or with midi-learn...it's in the enable host-automation option. i'll have to contact my old buds at ik MULTIMEDIA....i've been lazy andi figured i'd give em a bit of time to iron out some of these wrinkles. some automation would be very nice....

ok...let me know how it goes. I'm not exactly familiar with Ableton but in general for a standard midi learn feature you shouldn't have to enable anything. It should just work. Now if you wanted to "host-automate" Ableton features and have syntronik respond to that....yes you do need to use the Enable Host Automation feature which I don't think is possible with Syntronik V.1 . From what I've heard there's an update coming and apparently they're going to add the Aftertouch amongst other things. Please do share your findings...On a side note the Enable host automation feature is built into Spectrasonics Keyscape....so I'm thinking maybe that's what missing in Syntronik)

enable-host-automation is clearly there next to midi-learn....but it doesn't respond to mouse-movements on any of the parameters. OMNISPHERE will probably have to be one MY one major heartbreak in terms of synths i'll only DREAM of owning. i love spectrasonics STYLUS Rmx and have been using it for years...what a great company. anyway i'm looking forward to ik Multimedia resolving the automation-issue...hopefully in this next update. a little movement here and there will be nice.

How do I assign this for automation in Logic it does not respond to anything?

Is there a video on the installation process? I purchased the ful ver. for mac and the downloader seems like it gave me all the syntronik free content only. I saw that you can download the individual synth libraries from the user area on the site, but I'm wondering if it's required to download everything individually or I can get a full library download somehow? Thanks

It's been a while but I remember getting a little confused with the installation process as well. If I remember correctly there's not a one full library download/installation process. You would need to download each installer and run them all separately.

Thanks- yeah it seems like that's how it is. Was hoping they also had a single downloader so I could just leave it overnight, but there's obviously a lot of advantages to having the separate downloaders too though.

Anyone know how to connect the plugin with my midi controller (Novation Circuit) in Fl studio. I am having zero luck!

What’s the problem though? It’s not any different than any other plug-in in that respect.

@@InTheMixReviews Like usual 3rd party plugins, when you click last tweaked in FL, link to controller, you can wiggle the dial you wish to link to and then wiggle the controller knob. Syntronik does not do this, there is just the MIDI learn option which does not work the same way, wiggling the MIDI knobs does nothing... I am just curious as to how it is to be connected.
