Buckeye fan here. He was a great quarterback and it takes time to grow. Look at Cincinnati's quarterback now. He couldn't even start then he had a decent year at LSU then Heisman Trophy year. These are young kids. I'm 63 and been following it for a long time. I don't hate Michigan either. Plus, I'm a Browns fan and they did have some good running backs from Syracuse play for the Browns if I remember right.

A lot of Buckeye fans who crapped on McCord conveniently forget that at one point most of them wanted to bench CJ Stroud for a true freshman Kyle McCord. The toxicity within some in the fanbase is downright embarrassing. These kids CHOOSE to be Buckeyes, and that deserves some respect.

Not to take anything away from Syracuse, but, I was at the GSU vs GT game and can tell you that GSU moved the ball too easily on GT. That being said, I am proud of GT for making a game of it against Syracuse. They were down and almost came back to win it. This was, GT's first true away game.

I love McCord as a buckeye player who knew what McCord could have done with a lot of maturity and practice he would have been lethal with a good Oline. He still has the same problem that he had with us. He stares his reciever down he doesn’t read the field at all. I hope he does well but him staring his receivers down is something that’s gonna hinder him in the NFL greatly if he even makes it. He’s a good pocket passer but he needs to read the field and quit staring 1 reciever down. Not to mention he had a bad Oline with us aswell Hes a pocket passer not a runner and buckeye fans wanted him to be CJ stroud and he wasn’t.
