@Go Further Yes Clemson was very sloppy yesterday.They made mistakes that would have cost other football teams a game.Trevor Lawrence threw a pick 6.The defense allowed a long touchdown pass.They had a punt blocked and their kicker missed a field goal.And despite all those mistakes,they won by 26 points.They probably should have won by less than 10 points

Honestly I'm orange-blooded Clemson all the way. Very pro T-Law. And even I believe he is overrated, but just a touch. For my money ETN is the freak of nature. And the time he was away from this game shows just how much the offense needs him.

@Mack man no offense but I'd genuinely hear out your argument. Give your rationale my dude. Those blanket statements don't get us anywhere. First realize I fully acknowledge T Law is great, incredible even. But he's not generational like ETN is. ETN is God mode my guy. Strong evidence - how many records has, and will, ETN break compared to our Qb? Further, T Law's greatness relies so heavily on the ETN factor (plus what our wide receivers can do) that his stats and performance rests on all them cats. Trevor isn't holding them up - they are holding him up. A pitcher for the LA Dodgers may have a 18 and 3 record and everybody thinks he's God. But you put that same pitcher with the Texas Rangers and his 10 and 11 record happens after a season where his team can't score runs to save their life. And his pitching in itself are the very same performances. You replace T Law with Fields and Clemson still crushes the competition. You replace ETN with anybody else - and I mean it Mack, give me anyone I will consider your suggestion - and Clemson just doesn't have the same edge of this margin.

Defense was playing off the WRs all game long. Why not "dink and dunk" when the CBs are giving 10 yard cusions? That just means he's making the right reads against that soft coverage. They had to play that way for a reason though. Clemson's offense has taken the top off of every defense they've faced. Syracuse made Lawrence beat them in front of them, not behind. And he did. Trevor's bad days are most QBs good days. Nothing overrated about it.
