I was blessed to spend almost 9 months in Syria. Before the war the peol of syria had some of the best quality of life in the region. They were not free but life was better than life under neighbouring regimes. Those rebels hated the regime, not because Assad was brutal (he was) but because he was not brutal enough. The county will not be a better place under the coming Islamic regime. They hated him because it was not an Islamic regime. Women could walk around without their heads covered, Christians were tolerated by the government, you could buy and drink alcohol etc. All that is over now and it will be hard to watch and stomach the evil that is coming.

@leiaitri0444Ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly. Syria is at least half Christian (every Syrian I know is Christian), which is why so many women don't cover their hair or faces. The Islamist extremists are working their way across the Middle East in an attempt to enforce their religion on the most vulnerable countries. I pray the Syrians can somehow keep the extremists from overtaking their country, similar to what they did in Iran. In the 50's -60's Iranian women could dress as they pleased and had freedoms to work and do as they pleased, looking at photos of them during this time frame, you'd think they lived in the West. Today they're completely covered in full niqab and burqa, with little ability to speak out against the barbarism they're subjected to. Islam is an extremely strict and barbaric religion, especially towards women and those who wish NOT to convert, as submission and complete control are huge aspects of Islam. I very much worry for the Syrian people with Jihad and Al-Queda being their "saviors", as nothing good will come of this.

Most of the rebels get training and weapons and shot from turkey or Iran Assad is shia muslim and turkey hates him! This is an occupying force. The muslims are occupying Syria! It's been thru hundred of years of genocide rape torture murder. Like who ate the Syrians of today they're relatively a new state. Who do you think should get the country back to. 🤔 two factions of islam is who are fighting. Who deserves it. Why do Muslims deserve rhe land cuz they been living in it for the last 75 years 🤷♂️ like who does it go back to? Who are the modern day Syrians. They're occupiers! Just like in Iraq Lebanon turkey jordan yemen Afghanistan Pakistan 😂 its all the same who does the country go to the taliban, and nkt the actual people of Afghanistan I mean you do realize the taliban and alqaeda and hamas and hezbollah are just gangs comparable to cartels. You saying the rebels should take the country from Assad is like saying the sinaloa cartel should take Mexico from its president 😂☠️ they're just a gang no matter if Assad or the rebels win in Syria it WILL STILL BE DEVESTATION AND DESTRUCTION MURDER RAPE TORTURE ENSLAVEMENT there is no winner here 😢 Syria is occupied and now is being fought over by 2 muslim factions w influence from Iran and turkey to overthrow the Assad regime so they can gain more territory. Hezbollah was literally invented to invade Syria by Iran. 😂 hezbollah is in Syria as well as Lebanon. This is like saying hezbollah deserves to take Lebanon and not the Lebanese. The Syrians are don't have a word in this fight! The civilians are being killed genocided murdered raped tortured maimed beheaded pillaged. The real Syrians are the ones suffering and will have no peace after the war. Syria was a Christian state that was occupied by muslims by conquest. It was a brutal conquest and that's how they came to fight over the territory between themselves! Muslims are fighting over the occupied territory of someone else and nobody even cares or says it. 😂 this is why we support Israel in the west. We see what's going on. Islam is a warmongering faith their religion gives them authority to kill rape murder torture other people and we see it daily in these regions. Iran Syria Iraq Lebanon palestine Jordan yemen all riddled w war rape murder death destruction all by one group of people.

@@MeisterPothead The West does contribute to the chaos of Syria, they've been bombing Syria for years up until recently, not to mention, ISIS, a huge cause for the instability in Syria and the refugee crisis in 2015 was quite literally started by, you guessed it, the illegal and brutal invasion of Iraq.

Please pray for the restoration of Christianity in Syria to ensure peace. In the Bible, Matthew 5:39 says, "But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also". Jesus taught that we should love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. He said, "You have heard people say, “Love your neighbors and hate your enemies.” But I tell you to love your enemies and pray for anyone who mistreats you" (Matthew 5:43-46).

@@rantarorant You actually believing life in the Middle East under the constant control of an Islamist terrorist regime will be good for a country who's home to many Christians, only shows how disillusioned by Islam and your false prophet you are. Mohammed was killed in the year 666 (the year of Lucifer) and was eaten by swine (the most unclean animal) as a wrath from God bc he was a false prophet. But millions of Muslims refuse to put the pieces together and see the message God was sending... Muslims WILL NOT be allowed into Heaven, nor will you receive 77 virgins upon your death; for you've spent your life spreading your religion of complete and utter control and forced submission while following a false prophet will a control complex, completely ignoring the wrath God placed upon Mohammed for his transgressions. Killed in 666 and eaten by pigs cannot be any more clear!

A church friend of mine is Syrian. He's a brilliant ambassador for Syria. He's intelligent, wise, polite, kind, has a great sense of humour, the list goes on. An inspiration. I fear he may be hurting inside, which is understandable.
