Syros is the capital of Cyclades, that's why you see more people during low season. All public services are there, so all the cycladians are going there for these things. You are such good friends, happy souls! Hope you enjoyed your stay in my country and come back when ever you feel like missing it!

Yes, we found that out after we had already left Syros but that makes so much sense as to why it was so much busier than the other islands we visited around the same time. Greece was one of our favourite countries of the trip and we really hope we will be back one day 🥰

Hey you two, thanks for reviving some great memories for me. It's cool to see how things have changed since I visited when I was 20. Robyn's comment about not having a map without Nerissa present made want to check that you guys know about offline maps. Load up the maps when you have wifi and use them live continuously without any internet. I know google maps has it, and I'm pretty sure apple's maps do too. Happy exploring!

@@robynandgraham also there is 999 stairs in nafplio city !!! Its in the main land 2 hours from athens... nafplio one of the best places on earth ... syros and milos much better than myconos... famous doesn't mean better...

Nafplio its a huge venechian castle on a big rock upon the sea also there is a car road to reach the top ... ( ή ελλάς ειν όμορφη) i used to travel around greece with french girls by car long time ago...
