I still remember when you dropped the "a new year, a new beginning" video. I was in Naples, Italy, at my best friend's house. We have a long-distance friendship. I just put my headphones and opened the window watching the fireworks in the distance. I felt so relaxed and ready to start a new year. Everything disappeared when her mother called me to came back at the dinning room, but I couldn't ask for a better first day of the year. They're like my second family... She's still my best friend but this year we weren't together on the 31st. I really miss her, but I want to thank you, Syros, for all these beautiful memories that you have been able to make in my life. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you to always understand how am I feeling even if you're don't have any idea of who I am. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I wanted to thank you anyway. Happy New Year.

I always come back to this video whenever I am working. Although the state of things right now are not good because of the pandemic I know that it will get better. I know everyone is scared of 2020, just 3 months in we were close to world war 3 and now a world wide pandemic is pushing us to our limits. But this is not the end, it's just another chapter in our human history and I know we will look back and laugh and be grateful that we are still alive. We may be stuck at our homes, if you look at the bright side this is the best time to reflect on the choices that we have made in this life.

I grew up in the 2010s, so this new year was a little hard on me. This year I’ll be able to drive and get a job and then once high schools done I’m off to college or university. It just really struck a cord with me. Life’s gone by so quick but that’s what’s so bittersweet about it. I’m sure though that this new decade will be just as good as the last. I’m about to turn 19 this week. A new decade also means my new life as a free adult ( a grown child :) ). No limitation to desire what I want. I still love my family. Even after 8 years of divorce of my parents. I will keep walking, as long as I can keep finding something beautiful, festinating, and lovely moments. This life, is almost enough happy to be worth to live. So, this music will make it a bit brighter and lovely. I’m a bit happy enough, for now. But if my partner one day leaves me alone, I will end my life without telling her about this. Happy new year for everyone. Rest In Peace for everyone who ended their life. If it’s not worth living. Find something, or end it for the next chance. If dying won’t solve the problem, like if your soul remains in this world. Then, there is no difference between death and life. I love coming back to new year videos after the year they are celebrating is over. 2020 wasn't the best for everyone, but for me it held some of the best experiences I'll never forget. On top of that I met and started dating an amazing man that I hope I get to marry. He and I are still young We're both each other's firsts and we're figuring this love thing out together Lately it's felt as though we're two captains trying to navigate a boat using maps in completely different languages different references, different ideas of love But i'm finally starting to see starting to understand his map, how he loves me This year I want to work on breaking down my old expectations of what love should look like (that weren't the healthiest) remember, everyone shows their affection in different manners, just because their way isn't what you were expecting doesn't mean they don't love you at all. So I'm going to start paying more attention to the little ways he shows his love and stop worrying about the ways in which he isn't Happy new year everyone.
