@@tozmcgoz8405 Yea, he still absolutely excels when it comes to the quieter bits. And fuck, no one can sing like he did forever. But on the other hand I'm sure it contributes to the reluctance of SOAD to truly reform. They all seem interested, but they are all 25 years older than when they started the band and aging takes a toll on your ability to perform, especially sing. Perhaps they are afraid another album wouldn't have the same technical skill as their past stuff, I would rather have no more SOAD albums instead of an underwhelming one.

See like as of recently whenever they play a song that's lyrically mostly or entirely Serj (mostly everything from their first album to Steal) Serj sings fucking fantastic for a man in his 40s, but when they do songs from mez/hyp serj seems so emotionally detached, and i can't blame him, Daron is not a good lyricist
