You should introduce her to some Deftones. Great band, but with two very different sides. And with quite a few songs that contain the soft and the heavy. Think they do it better than most. You should try Ariels, Spiders, Roulette, Dreaming, Mesmerise or Lonely Day for System with no or little screaming, amongst others. But yeah I agree, this Chop Suey, and the likes of Toxicity and Sugar are pretty standard for system in terms of heaviness. Brilliant band with amazing lyrics and a entertaining, theatrical vocals.

I dont blame her, this track didnt won its prices for nothing. Its hard to comprehend, understand and even feel - its a all around masterpiece, were everything is to be put into a coherent experience of message, lyrics, vocals, instruments... Its not what one would deem a good jam, a fluid experience, its more art then music :-)

I've been listening to this song for my whole live cause of my dad, used to be almost too heavy for me but after digging futher into metal it almost sounds soft. Metal is someting you have to get used

Can I ask a very honest and open question please? What is it about people being very angry when questioning why they always send the poor to war that you don't like? I, personally (and I could be wrong), think that this is a very logical response to US & UK recruitment policies for the armed forces.

the fact the poor are resorted to joining the military for funds with a barely livable wage should not be something looked at as standard, especially when recruiters often target those whose career options are severely limited. all of that shit just for Veterans to make up a large portion of the homeless population, (which increased by 7.4% from 2022-2023.) i don’t see how it can be looked at as logical. but, war itself isn’t logical, so it’s hard to think past even that.
