I've heard this song hundreds of times and I legit had no idea that many of the higher parts are Daron and not Serj (1:06 for instance). This track isolation also really demonstrates how amazingly well their voices blended and why the combination of incredibly talented band members had SOAD churning out so many magical tunes.

Chop Suey is so much groovier than I ever realized, and Serjs voice is so much softer than I ever thought it could be, and is some parts he is almost...talking? He's barely singing in those parts, you don't notice that in the finished cut, it's just part of the song. But the last chorus is still super emotional! Cool vid, I hope this becomes the new big thing.

The lack of Daron's singing is what's making some parts of Serj's vocals sound a bit flatter than you're used to. Serj actually sings the harmony part for the chorus so that bit sounds extra weird without Daron providing melody.
