It took me three instructors to find someone who finally taught me this kind of stuff. Wish you guys would have been around ten years ago ;-)

Amazing. I had been stuck in my bed for an hour, until i finaly found this video. Carrying my phone in one hand, and a sandwitch in the other, i needed a technique for standing up without dropping the phone or the sandwitch. Systema is truely usefull in real life situations, thanks alot, truely saved me.

kmac_DINNER That does not matter as long as the issue is relevant brother. Some people find difficult to standup from total ground level without hand support. Human body is weak when injury but human mind is very strong if channel properly.

Another great video. Really appreciate the clarity of the demonstration in all its stages plus the usefulness of technique like this. Proficiency of this movement could be the difference if you are ever unfortunate enough to be the victim of a surprise or random attack. Great work guys and big respect and regards from London 👍

Great instructions. I have a tendency to rise from my knees placing my weight mostly on just one leg, my girlfriend is disabled and I often put on her socks and shoes, this will help me protect my knees. I'm grateful for the explanation of mechanics in your videos.

Sounds like a good party trick "how to stand up without using your arms." Then if you ever happen to accidentally lose one of your arms or both of them you can still stand up like HAHA BITCH

This is stuff you don't normally think about, but in a life or death situation, especially if injured, will give you the advantage... Or in regular life, help you live longer without joint pain, etc. Thanks so much!

Hello, very interesting videos, I started drilling this and the Russian bicycle.. But do you have any tips for people with reduced mobility in the knees? I cannot sit on my heels, thus can't project my center of mass to the rear like in the explanation..
@transitioncrt2526
@transitioncrt2526 5 жыл бұрын
While standing up the position on your heels can be reduced due the use of motion. If you sent us a private message on Facebook we can explain this to you in a video.

I'm sceptical about systema, krav maga and those kinds of defense arts, are they real? of course you never see an art used to defend and counter attack in real life because of obvius reasons; Can you really use this arts to defend yourself when the other person doesn't show compassion? I do boxing and i'm not that good so i can't tell if i really am that unstable sometimes, but is it effective even against full speed and full power? and by full speed i mean someone that doesn't stay with an hand to your face for more than 1 second? Ty already

Every situation needs a different approach and by understanding principles you can apply these in every situation. Yet we obviously don't offer a magical formula which will safe you in every situation. We merely give you tools which will hopefully make the difference when in a conflict situation. Ofcourse under stress the moves and techniques can't be performed as smoothly and effective as in an instructional setting or even training setting. Yet our instructors and many of our students applied the principles during real life situations (military/special operations, civil self defence and security work) and it somehow helped them to deal with the situation. Then again we don't offer a solution merely try to help you improve your change of survival
