We plan to make video's about the usage of our principles while wearing tactical gear and arms in season 3 or 4. For specific questions about working with gear you can always send us an email to info@transition-crt.com or a message on FB or whatsapp!

What if you carry weapons on the front of the belt line or are using a chest rig/carrying a rifle etc? This looks like it could be quite painful
@transitioncrt25266 жыл бұрын
While carrying a rifle the technique changes a bit. We will make a video of how to perform this exercise while holding weapons. As for tactical gear like a chest rig, this kind of gear complicates the technique as well, depending on what kind of gear of course. In some situations you may want to use a different technique instead of this one.

I assume you and your assistant are trained in hand to hand combat. It would be interesting to see you fight against your assistant but obviously avoid injuring anyone.

Would this work on rough concrete with addition to potholes?
@transitioncrt25266 жыл бұрын
The floor I am demonstrating this on is actually a rough concrete surface. And yess it will work with any surface including one with potholes. But you will slide probably less and perhaps get a few scratches. Never the less it is still far better than landing on your hands or face. Keep in mind this is a last resort option.

@@transitioncrt2526 yes, so i thought. Its a little bit like parkour.

From my training, using the biggest surface area you can with your body distributes weight and lessens impact...
@annoyed7075 жыл бұрын
For side and rear falls, that's great. Not so much for the front. This allows for gradual dissipation of the energy through friction and rocking motion, plus the push off with the hands. On a smooth surface like a waxed floor or ice this could get you some useful distance. It also leads to the fall with the hands behind your back.

@transitioncrt25265 жыл бұрын
You'll probably have some more scratches but still much better than falling on your face or break a wrist while trying to catch yourself.
