From the recent seminar in London. Vladimir showed many options of weapon control, not only through the knife hand, but also through the head and leg work. Shown at instructional pace.

It would be cool to see this demonstrated at normal speed on a non compliant attacker using actual knife techniques!

What you are describing is a life-and-death scenario, which would end rather quickly and is not safe for either one. Do you actually want to see pokes in the eyes and broken elbows?

@@elliott7706 Eventually you have to practice them at full speed to make sure you not only understand the technique, but that you can perform it in the situations you would need it, and that the technique actually works. Go to any karate dojo and eventually you will be doing techniques at full speed, but I only ever see systema being demonstrated at this drastically reduced pace.

@@alexk7837 What I'm describing is a full speed training scenario, which would eventually be expected of you in any other school of martial arts. If you only practice at slow speed with an attacker who folds over like warm butter at any touch, you aren't actually demonstrating anything valid since neither of those would occur in a real life scenario.
