Once again systema being irrelevant and impractical, it's pathetic these guys believe in this bullshyt, where is the sparring? Where is the resistance in training, you know a martial art is crap when it doesn't test itself against resisting opponents

Note do not try this because if someone has a gun pointing at you and the very second that you move to try this move that person can pull the trigger and you can figure how bad that is.. your best bet is to have life alert or something that if you push the button it calls the law enforcement and most of the cell phone has emergency call button... And stay calm and learn what the best way to talk to that person to buy your self time to have the law enforcement to get to you... And learn how to push what ever you have to call for the law enforcement with out that person knowing.... Learning and practicing different ways even knowing what to talk to the person.... That will save your life..... Because this video more than likely the very second you move that person will pull that trigger

what you do is raise your hand cuz no gun weilding punk with a brain would ever get this close to you. This is not a knife, it's a long distance weapon. Teach your technique to defend against knives, it would make more sense and actually be useful.

Sir, I have been watching you and Mr. Ryabko for years, and have been practicing various martial arts for decades. Being myself an engineer, the more I see both of you practice, the more I feel systema is unique in the field of martial arts, in the sense that I feel more and more that engineers, and perhaps even researchers participated to the creation of systema. Indeed, compared to many other masters from various martial arts, your understanding of psychology and biomechanics is really impressive. Am I correct ? Initially, was systema the creation of a main person (e.g. like Imi Lichtenfeld for Krav Maga, or Mas Oyama for Kyokushinkai), or of a team that was gathered to invent the most efficient way to fight ?
