Have you had issues with Windows 7 or 10 machines logging in with launcher 1.7? When ever I change an N2 type controller for a new FEC type, after converting to N2 I leave it as an VND type, match the mapping points and then I upload using SCT and change the device type to VND on the archive, and download back to the NAE.

I've not had any trouble with the launcher tool with either version of windows. The only problem I've had is if I used a different rev of the launcher tool than the NAE I was trying to access. The NAE information tool is very helpful in those cases. Makes it much easier to get into them.

Hi, i am doing upgrade on one of our site and found DX9100-8454 L9651. Can you suggest me which window and software we need. So, i can take backup. I am struggling with it. Thanks

You would need the GX9100 software. It is no longer available. An upgraded controller would be the FAC 3613 DX adapter and you would need to replicate the programming in CCT.

We have hundreds of old devices (HVAC Pro, DX9100). We currently are putting newer CCT devices on N2 bus and use the .prn files from the old devices and mapping tables.

Has anybody ever thought about rewiriting the hvac pro and gx9100 to work on 64bit. The program looks like its written in 16bit environment. Which an 32bit system can run, but not a 64bit bit.

Been pushing for it but no luck with jci

Have you had luck with the emulators? If so, What type do you use?

Our IT will not support them and I can't put them on their machines. JCI has mixed results with them.

@@Systemcontroltech My team are using VMWare Workstation 15 and running XP SP1 and Win7 32-Bit on them. The latest launcher will install and run on Win7 32-bit (not supported by JCI), but couldn't get the launcher to run on XP (it requires a later version of windows installer than they ever made for XP, IIRC). Win7 32-bit does have some workarounds you have to apply to get help files to show properly from GX9100, that one of the team found by googling it.

Yes, the company I work for is using vm ware with windows 7 installed. HVAC Pro has been working up until recently. Yesterday it would not connect to a UNT 1144 or a VMA 1430. It kept failing when trying to connect. I tried on my laptop and another coworkers laptop with no success. We also check the cable connections and it did not work. It was not a very productive day.
