Great video. I may have missed this but why do we put the 1 at the beginning of the 4th octet? Was that just for this example or is that done because of a specific rule?

How many host per Subnet = 2^7-2=126. One is the Subnet network IP and the second is the subnet broadcast IP address

it all looks good on paper, none of it works in real life. You can't connect a router to a router, as the far end router will get a private ip address, and fail to connect to the internet. So don't bother trying to subnet. it simply doesn't work, and it defies the logic of connecting a router to a router.Every time i attempted to subnet it always results in the same thing. One single private ip address with a /24 subnet mask. Nothing else works in real life.
