I love how Amber is explaining terms that people may not have encountered before: red lining, the Tuskegee experiments, dog whistle, etc. I feel like this should be required viewing for middle schoolers and boomers alike.

Another way to fund education , mental health services, and job training would be to reduce military funding. After ending America’s longest war what did Congress do? _Increase_ military funding by 5%. Why does the Pentagon need _more_ money when we’re no longer at war?

Shouldn't schools in neighborhoods with lower property values get more money to make up for what parents obviously can't afford? Rich people can supplement and donate, but poor people can't afford to do that in large amounts. The scale should be reversed! These segments should be compulsory viewing for all high school students in the US - and for politicians too. Actually, for everyone.

I love Amber- she teaches US citizens SO MUCH- things we should have been taught in school, but were not! Hopefully we will “wake up” and be taught this in school!
