In Eurovision there are three types of songs: bad ones like the one from Latvia, Moldova and Georgia, good ones like the one from Armenia, Cyprus and Greece and then already excellent ones like Sweden, the United Kingdom and especially Spain. This proposal is on the same level as this year's Danish proposal. At a medium level. Just like Portugal. When I saw this group for the first time, an image came to my mind, they look like the typical plastic teachers whose hair smells like incense. Of all the proposals that Iceland has sent, this seemed to me the weakest and I am not surprised that they have been last. If Iceland wants to win, they have to get their act together. Like they did in 2009 with Yohanna and in 2021 with Dadi.

There was quite a bit of contrast between what the jury considered worthy and what the crowd (Australia and Switzerland come to mind in one direction, Moldovan and Serbian brilliance in the other). This year must be asterisked as there's no way any country would ever win that big again with the televoters. But yes, Iceland would have deserved top5, this is a formidable song.
