I think the video foreshadowed the ending very well. At 0:10 the black haired twin has black eyelashes, but at 0:52 the black haired character has white eyelashes (because it is actually the white haired twin). At 1:01 the flames are all black. The flames likely represent the black haired children who were sacrificed to the dragon, with the center-most one representing the black-haired twin. The mask is important since it hides the fact that the twins switched from the rest of the tribe. At 1:20 it shows the twins on a mat with a black butterfly and a white butterfly. The black haired twin sits on the black butterfly and the white haired twin sits on the white butterfly. They switched their hair color, but not their butterfly. At 1:27 there is a very brief flashback of two children running hand and hand. Likely the twins. 1:30 and 1:49 suggests that most of the tribe has white hair. They likely sacrifice those with black hair because they are seen as an oddity - destined to be sacrificed. At 1:52 two children are shown, one with white hair and white eyelashes and one with black hair and black eyelashes. I think they are the twins as children since they have the same hairstyle as the children that were shown in the flashback. At 1:55 the center-most flame has turned white because the white haired twin is sacrificing themselves for the black haired twin. At 2:53 the butterflies are white because it is the white haired twin. Had it been the black haired twin, the butterfly would have been black like at 0:05.

@lemonssssssss4 sorry, this is like 5 months ago but i mayy have an answer?? (ofc if i understood your question correctly, it took me a bit ^^') i personally just assumed they're sacrificed only once they're older, which is how uzuki is still around. now that they're grown, they're eligible to be sacrificed. though at the end of the day, this is really just me speculating what seems reasonable!
ahhh, I love this song, so I decided to give a go at a rough translation. I'm not fluent by any means, and this song had some tricky parts (which I'll be leaving notes on) so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! あの歓楽街の場末のバーに If only I had never dropped by, 寄り道しなければ良かったんだ That bar on the outskirts of the red light district. したら鮮血も汗も垂らさずに It seemed as though it would simple enough to enter, 楽にいれそうだった Without any fresh blood or sweat having to be spilled; けど何万回やったってきっと And yet, though I've surely done it tens of thousands of times, (1: "やったって" confused me a bit in this context; this may be incorrect) あの歌にやられちまって最後 It was when that song struck me for the final time, 深い快楽奈落に堕ちていく That I began to slip into a Hell of pleasure. 正攻法は歌わねぇ I cannot sing an upfront, head-on attack. だって正解なんざ裏の裏 For correct answers are written backwards in a backwards language. (2: "裏の裏" is a bit tricky to translate the full proper meaning of, and I'm not sure "backwards in a backwards language" necessarily conveys that since I don't know if I fully understand it myself. open to suggestions!) さぁ松明に火を灯せ Come, light the torch. その地の行く末 アナタの影 The fate of that land, your shadow. 快楽に身を委ね Abandon yourself to pleasure; 己が進めば道は遥か If I am to proceed, then my path is far away. アナタが残した言葉なら If you’ve left behind words, then, それでも構わず受け止める Regardless, I shall take them on board. (3: I interpreted this to be as, "if you've left words behind for me, then no matter what those words are, I'll accept them and take them on board") また懐古を崇拝 烏合の集会 Once again, the worshippers of bygone days hold a disorderly gathering. 口揃え「あの頃は良かった」って With aligned mouths, they say, “Those times were great.” 笑っちゃいるけど悲しい表情 With smiles that don’t reflect the sadness on their faces, そんな目で俺を見んな Don’t look at me with those sorts of eyes; (4: not confident that "見んな" means don't look. I'm not fully acquainted with all the slang conjunctions but it makes sense in context) ただ何億回やったって絶対 Yet, it has definitely happened hundreds of millions of times. またこの時代を選んで生きたい I want to choose and live in this era once again. 息を吸って粋に生きイキるだけ Breathe in, live smartly, and simply put on airs. (5: "粋に" has a few meanings, and though smartly/chicly seems to be the most common, and DOES make sense here, there's a meaning of "familiar with worldly pleasures", which ties into a few other things in the song. figured this was worth mentioning/discussing.) それでも松明に火を灯せ Nevertheless, light the torch, 傷口を炎で焼いて塞げ Cauterise that open wound. 冷徹な眼差しに With a level-headed gaze, その身焦がれども進む業火 Yearn for that body, but proceed into hellfire. (6: another confusing sentence. the dictionary I use defined "焦がれる" as to yearn for/be in love with something, though since the kanji can be interpreted as burn/singe/etc., I wasn't confident with this definition) 油は売らずに身に乗せる Rather than sell the oil, place it upon your body. 愚か者が故登るだけ Fools merely climb the deceased. (7: "故" is completely alien to me, and I'm entirely unsure if it translates this way in this context) 大行進を引き連れとうとう Accompanied by the great parade, finally, (8: slightly unsure on とうとう being "finally") 最前線へ殴り込み An assault on the frontmost thread. (9: there might be a more natural way to translate this; open to suggestions!) さぁ松明に火を灯せ Come, light the torch, その地の行く末 貴方の影 The fate of that land, your dearest shadow. (10: notably, this chorus uses 貴方 instead of アナタ, so I translated it differently here) 快楽に身を委ね Abandon your body to pleasure; 己が進めば道は遥か If I am to proceed, then my path is far. アナタが残した言葉なら If you’ve left behind words, then, それでも構わず受け止める Regardless, I shall take them on board. 今馬鹿見る覚悟の愚直さで Now, with frankness of one prepared to look foolish, 仮面を脱ぎ捨て歩き出す I’ll throw aside my mask and start to walk. if any of this is wrong, please let me know! it may not be 100% accurate, but I hope it'll help more people understand the song more.

@@mintahyungnim I thought that this is a clan composed of white-haired people, where the black-haired ones are sacrificed to some dragon-tiger god. The first person to appear has black hair and eyelashes, but from that point onward there is a person with black hair and *white* eyelashes. This is probably because the protagonists are twins and one of them is taking the place of the one who is going to be sacrificed, to save their life. The current sacrifice probably managed to deceive the god, despite their twin's reluctance, but I'm not too sure if they did die or if something that never happened before began
@mahogania55362 жыл бұрын
@lemonssssssss4 the character in 0:09 doesn't show any lower eyelashes. Aside from that, considering the characters in this video look mostly the same they might not be twins after all, but it's still 50/50 if everyone is related or not

there’s a lot of references i found in the song. the most obvious is the part of the chorus which matches bakushou (the song is in the same key so it’s easy to spot). there’s also references to call boy, gambling (both lyrics and the morse code), and toriatsukaichui. finally, the end part of the chorus’ melody is a refererence to tarine. like hebereke junkie, this song nods to a lot of syudou’s past works and it only makes this song better.

hello! I'm so sorry, would you please be able to elaborate on the Morse code part?
@greengardens69592 жыл бұрын
@@jonathanleroy4912 I don't know what other Morse code is in Syudou's songs but there is one in the art of Bakushou (the one with a man in the orange suit) that have the word "EARN" on his hand (the small dots)

@@greengardens6959 Fantastic! I like Bakushou a lot, but I didn't notice the morse code at all. Thanks for pointing that out!
The title of the song in English can mean “beacon” and “smoke signal” The name is made up of the kanji for wolf (狼 / おおかみ / ookami) and smoke (煙 / けむり / kemuri) (the pronunciation changes if it’s in a word) In hiragana the title is (のろし) In romaji the title is “Noroshi” Thank you for reading this, I hope it was helpful, have a good day!

hearing the evolution of the voice of syudouさん is breathtaking. From originally producing amazing vocaloid tracks to beginning to sing them is just so beautiful, and you can hear the growth and transformation in every new piece. so happy to continue supporting you, syudouさん !!!

Honestly, this may be one of my favorite things about vocaloid community. Many of them starts with just vocaloids, but as the time passes they gain more experience and confidence and also start doing self-covers, and it turns out they are great at that as well.

@lemonssssssss4 to add, he’s able to sound quite pitiful, like he’s really good at it. just listen to his covers of jama, baka and also hebereke junkie, he really sounds like he’s having fun and almost making fun of the listener as he sings.

syudou literally can never make a bad song, and his voice is so clear and rich comparing to when he first did self covers, not to mention the incredible story and animation- this is just so good, as expected of syudou!!!!

i think this is syudou’s best song in a WHILE, and i mean a while. the tempo is slow, which is already quite different. i absolutely love every piece of layering, mixing and instruments in this song, and not to mention syudou’s vocals which are amazing and somehow still improving, even though i see it as perfection already. yasutatsu’s movie never fails to disappoint either, and i can’t wait to see their illustration for kedarui’s new song. simply amazing, i’m basically speechless after this. i can’t wait for the live concert as well, idk if i can attend it but i just know it will be amazing. good luck syudou! -just another syudou_simp
