I spent so long thinking the reason it wasn’t shown/the reason luffy of all characters was sent there was that kuma (knowing dragon personally) knew that Luffy’s mom was the missing empress of Amazon Lily (love is a hurricane referring to dragon’s Storm Storm fruit) and Oda was saving it, but now that he revealed the empress in this SBS it feels less likely, but I’m still hoping

My theory is that df fruit are the antithesis of imu which Is why he/she developed a system to manipulate their use and possession with slaves. Which would explain why imu, the goresei, holy knights, shanks crew and even lowly level celestials don't have devil fruits. Lol I even think it's explanation for the helmets they wear. (Prevent them from consuming a df by accident) being dumb or unprivy to the void century.

I think the person Toritoma fell in love with is a character we know. As we know Strength is Beauty for the Kuja, so it will be someone very powerful. The only one I can think of right now is Dragon. In Nyon's case, I think she fell in love with Rocks D. Xebec, since she didn't have a strong reaction to Whitebeard's death and Xebec was definitely the most powerful in that crew.

Ace wanted to defeat the strongest person in the world to validate his existence. to show his life was worth something. its a significant part of his character. during the war he was upset that people would be risking their lives for "someone like him" because of his childhood and all the roger hatred he heard. which lead to the moment with him asking garp if it was a good thing he was born. even during his dying moments this mindset is brought up. 15:33 This answer is easy, she fell in love with brooks captain Yorkie. not only does the timeline fit. but he was last seen being sent off alone sick into the calm belt. which is where amazon lily is located.

No, the timeline doesn't fit. The tragedy of Brooks occurred over 50 years ago. At that time, probably even Gloriosa might not have become the Empress. For Brooks, even Roger was a rookie, what are you talking about the empress from generation after Shakuyaku falling in love with a guy who might have died two decades before she might have been born. Moreover,, if Yorkie was involved with Amazon Lily, then Crocus might have heard something about him from Rayliegh.

Hmm I never cared for spoilers personally but just try not to spoil people if I can help it. SBS’ are a bit different since this is information that’ll not appear in the anime or in the manga scans. This is stuff you kinda have to go out of your way to view so I don’t consider this information spoilers! It only really affects the people who wait for the physical media and don’t read or watch any One Piece outside of that, and that is the minority within the minority

CP9 appears to be the only secret one, as CP1-8 were also publicly known, as explained in chapter 346. But all this has always made me wonder about one thing: when Luffy beats Lucci in chapter 427, and the Marines were informed about Lucci's defeat, why didn't they go "Who?"
