I was honoured to work there & so sad my health went wrong & I can no longer work at all now. The engineering on the T50 is just unbelievable, it's another GM work of art. I have been fortunate to work on quite a few car projects, including the XJ220 & the SLR. The T50 is design & engineering perfection. So pleased to see it's success. Best wishes to all my friends at GMA.

This is Gordan's Magnum Opus. Why do I have tears in my eyes? Why am I so emotional? Why do I choke up whenever the V12 "wakes up" to give power? Is it because this may be the pinnacle of internal combustion personal transport? The final crescendo of a soprano's farewell performance before stepping off the stage for ever? The last passionate battle cry of a class of machine that motivates itself to motion through the careful application of highly tuned controlled explosions, in the face of the passionless indifferent silence of electric propulsion.

One of the best looking, best sounding, and since it’s made by Gordon Murray; best driving car ever made. Mated with a manual and that screaming Cosworth V12 that revs to 12 000, able to be daily driven and beating most other Hypercars around a racetrack because it’s so light and has tons of downforce, it really is the perfect car. If there is one car I can take out of every car made in history, this will be it, sadly it is incredibly expensive so I probably will never be able to afford one but you never know.

Words cannot describe how much I appreciate this car and Gordon Murray. I would dedicate my life to working at this place if given the opportunity. The passion and dedication from the team is immense. Thankyou guys for producing a magnificent car and so efficiently. Gordon was clearly concentrating while driving to start, but after he was satisfied and his concentration turned to enjoyment, his smiles brought tears to my eyes. It's so nice to see achievements like this happen for people who dedicate their life to automotive engineering. Thank-you GMA

The original F1 road car was my poster car. Still is. When Gordan compares the 'flaws' in that design which were limitations of manufacturing of the era, but then he eliminated them in this T50 series. Blimey I thought I had attention to detail in life. The first F1 was and still is a Brunel level piece of engineering. The T50 is another incredible achievement. Sir Murray thank you for putting your energies into creating a second masterpiece (of the road world). Colin Chapman would have tipped his hat to you for sure.

It is kinda sad, but thank you to the whole team for documenting this interesting process! The good thing is that now a lot of T.50s will, hopefully, hit the road in different parts of the world and hopefully I get to see and HEAR one 😀

That smile to himself during the drive said it all. I can't help but wonder if this is his swan song, both because of the market shift to electric, and also his age. Does he have another such epic car in him?

He has plans till 2033 already. People like that will go on for a long long time, maybe well into their 90s. Their passion keeps them alive and younger than they should be.

@@florinvid Well the T33 Spider is out now. Whatever Gordon said about that earlier, I am sure demand was strong enough for one and they want to push out those NA V12s as much as they can. Maybe the next car after that will be hybrid.

Amazing how incredibly fast this car went from a napkin sketch to full production ready in this short amount of time. The fact it’s one of the most engineering finest makes it that more impressive. Just goes to show you how quickly things can get done if you’re not ruled by committee and accountants and just have this one focused, singular attention to make the world’s best driver’s car

A really special feeling to this video… the start of an era but weirdly the closing of one, I’ve loved these progress videos from start-to-finish, to the point where I myself feel like I’ve been involved in it, what a special car.

It must be some world that Gordon lives in. To have the engineering skill and ability to design then manufacture a car like that is a really incredible achievement. Add to that a host of other amazing vehicles including the fantastic original F1, it doesn’t get better. What a sound when that motor spins up. Worth every penny.

Absolutely remarkable development timeline! Congratulations to GM the godfather of supercar design, your whole team at GMA and all your partners. Waiting for the first journalist reviews of this, and I think you'll have to drag them out when you feel they're done. The T50 will be the ultimate supercar of this generation as the true successor of the Mclaren F1. Next, the T50S, and then T33.
