Her brothers T. Viswanathan and T. Ranganathan are versatile musicians of their own right. Her vocal accompanist Narasimhulu was a seasoned unalloyed singer. Her most asset is her mother T. Jayammal. Her cousin T. Sankaran was musicologist.

Nowadays the performers especially dancers have no knowledge of Sruthi & laya . They have a lack of knowledge in their own languages in vogue including the poorest knowledge in Sanskrit. 🎉
