I found the T- Bone Burnett cassette most of these songs are from, accidentally in the late '80s. I learned most of the songs and sang them over and over in the foggy winters of Oregon. Then I ran into Jerry Douglas at a show called Legends of the Steel String Guitar and spoke with him afterward. His eyes lit up when I told him I knew him from this album. He was like, "I didn't think anyone had that album." He said he and T- Bone were going to do a follow- up. Did they? This one is a treasure. I'm so happy to find this recording. I also talked guitars with Wayne Henderson for a long time that night. So much fun.

Wow, what a long lost gem. T-Bone Burnett and an all-star band.

Thanks for posting! T Bone Burnett's 1986 Dot album is one of my all-time favorites. To see this concert footage so many years later is a real treat.

Thanks for posting this. When that was on live in 1987, I set my VCR to tape it and something went wrong. I was 25 years old. This is the first time Ive acutally seen it. I'm 62:-) Ironically I just got the opportunity to see him live for the first time about a month ago. My wife and I were in Tulsa OK. While there we planned to go to the Bob Dylan Center. When I logged on to buy tickets, lo and behold TBone Burnett was there that same day doing an onstage conversation and a 6 song set. What a treat. I got to talk to him briefly since it was a crowd of only 200. Bucket list checked!

A country show with no drums or electric instruments, just like the olden days.

I saw what was supposed to be the last concert by The Who in the United States in December 1982...struggling to remember who opened. Wish it had been T-Bone! Now I must google...
