For the bashers, remember the Philippine Womens Team haven't compeated internationaly for almost 2yrs they just restarted in this year's SEA Games, It's obvious that Chezka is not in her pre-pandemic form and you can see the rust and uncomfortable but nevertheless aside her first event SEA games 9 ball her results so far are really good SEA games 10-ball - SILVER vs Amit 2022 Asian Open - Champion vs Seoa 10Ball World - Quarterfinal vs Kelly Fisher ( this match is really good ) Puerto Rico Open - Final vs Wei Take note it's her First Predator Series and Finals outside SEA since the return and the Opponent she face to get there are world class And for those who tell that she will never be World Class I'm sorry to say she already is, at 23 her resume speaks for itself 😊

Thanks for this, jobo. I appreciate knowing what Chezka's been up to since i last saw her play. I also appreciate someone schooling her critics here, who sound like this is the first time they've seen her play. I'm amazed at how many people have a _hard_ time getting their heads around the fact that someone is a 'quick study' and doesn't _need_ as much time to figure out and do something as *they* think he/she should. Even though (as you said) "her résumé speaks for itself".

After Austria and Michigan, I was very excited but very nervous to see Wei Wei in the Final at San Juan. I was really rooting for her to win. I'm not sure what was better -- that amazing final cut shot, or the huge smile on Wei's face afterwards. Her reaction was pure joy and was very heartwarming, and a huge relief to her many devoted fans around the world.

I agree with you observation Emj. It's important to be always focus on your game. Hasty in your execution will certainly affects your performance. Such is very much in evidence to many hasty players in the world who're already among with billiard master category but seldom win a billiard title unlike Efren Bata Reyes who always well focus in his games, executing his game using his brain & guts in style plus of course his many magic shots in his games.

Centeno will not be a great pool player till she didnt change her style..she's always in a hurry shot not thinking much on what her next move, i had watched her several times and she never change!

Cheska will never be a champion if she keeps on with that style. She should learn how to play deliberately. Look at how Wei played, she's so deliberate with her strokes, not hurrying up any shots, defends so well and the desire to win is so evident on her face, unlike Cheska who's play is just to entertain or showoff.

Actually, Cheska is already a champion, to name a few, she is the reigning Asian Open Champion and the youngest Amway Cup Champion ( one of the most prestigious women's competition) 😳

TOTALLY agree. She no doubt has the raw materials but her game is very incomplete. I've never seen her play any other way. Just get up and shoot. Don't know if she has a bad coach or no coach but she NEEDS SOMEBODY to impart some strategy and wisdom about the side of the game that she doesn't have.
