Lovely ,aye. great job and it's not that different from where my wife and I live in Portsmouth UK. Tiny little terraced house with a train line at the bottom of our garden. I was telling my wife how tiny everything is. Each rail car is about the same size as my big toe nail lol. Put your GOD's hand in view for perspective. Anyway, looks amazing, well done indeed !

Very cool. I do N-gauge and Z-gauge ... and I'm thinking about making a small T-gauge layout next.

Thank you for the nice comment! I also have N and Z scales. Yes, give T Gauge a try - it’s fun and refreshing to try a new scale.

Lovely, well done. Would be nice to see how the long trains traverse across those switches.

Thank you! I”ll have to send them through the switches in a future video.

If the trains weren't running on a loop one could be fooled into thinking they are looking at full size trains, because the top-down view makes it look life-like.

Great layout. I would love to have one . I have money but not the space. Oops, I mean I have the space, not money.

I've been building some T-gauge buildings and having fun with that. No trains yet. i don't know if that's my goal or not.

Your layout is quite beautiful. You have definitely captured the British 'feel' with the squalid terrace houses right out of Monty Pythons sketch, "every sperm is sacred.😂 However, the wagons appear somewhat jerky and seem to derail easily. Would adding some weight improve this; possibly small fishing tackle lead beads? Also, is the track width proportional to the trains at that scale?
@daveb.trains70193 ай бұрын
Thank you! I was having some trouble with the passenger train that derailed even prior to the video and found (or thought)it was due to two track joints not lining up correctly. Upon correcting this, the train ran good so I went ahead with the video, but as you saw, the train derailed again in the video. I need to run other trains over this spot now to see if it is the track still causing the problem or the train itself. The other two trains were fine. You’re right, maybe adding some weight will help. I know some cars (if not most) come weighted as purchased. I also have some that are solid bodied and can’t have weight added unless maybe they are drilled out from the bottom to make room for added weight. Overall though, what I have experienced on my T Gauge layouts is that derailments have usually happened because of track issues, couplers not lined up, and/or trucks attached too tight inhibiting free movement. Thanks again for watching!

Impressive! How did they get the trains to run so smoothly?
