@Allinoneisture The 200 thousand population you are refering to was residing within the limit of anciant city wall,(even that wasn't accurate since the population within city wall was estimated between 37 to 47 k) but since the founding of the Republic of China, Nanjing annexed the surrounding counties to form the Nanking prefecture (equivalent of Tokyo prefecture in Japan )
