piaoxue - I think you are confused about what is an American when you mentioned that your children have long eye lashes because they are Americans. Being an American is a legal concept which means American citizenship. However, USA is a multi-racial country where Americans look different physically because of their races. Your children are Chinese race because both you and your hubby are Chinese. Their long eye lashes have nothing to do with them being American citizens or where they were born/grew up. You have long eye lashes and your children may get the long eye lashes from you.
