I am not sure what these people want to prove using a common candidate. After a 30 years of brutal war and anoher 15 years campaigning for Tamil rights on international stage, if the international community does not think Tamils are united on this then will this strategy of common candidate work? What this guy says, instead of staging of 30 years of war, we should have stand a common candidate in all the previous president elections and showed to the international community. That means the 30 years war was absolute waste.
