I recently found this in my old collection but have never played it. Turns out, it sells surprisingly well these days. I played it for a half hour or so to make sure it worked (oh gawd, the controls are so, so bad), and in one of the first cutscenes, the villain says "They really get on my nerves." The subtitle said "They really get up my nose." Chef's kiss. This game is pretty bad, but it honestly does have its own strange charm!

How can you not love this game? ^ ^ I played Hard Edge to death back in the 90es. One of my very favorite PS1 games. So much fun. Lil' Rachel was the bomb! X3

I agree! This game kicked ass!

I bought this new back when it came out, and loved it. I forgot about that awesome bad ending! This game also had some fully 3d environments scattered around for boss-fights. Pretty fun, if silly.

I bought this game back in 98 or 99. Me and my best friend would play this on the weekends for two months straight trying to figure this out. We would just end up making fun of the voice acting and how cheasy it all was. All of my games went missing while I was away at boot camp. Was trying for the last four or five years to remember the name. I randomly found this video earlier this year and had to go find it. Thank you and awesome video.

This game reminds me of my childhood. Never found anything wrong with the voice acting until I got older.

Here in europe this game is called Hard Edge and I played this game, Breath of Fire 3 and Dino Crysis 2 to death back in the 90ties xD It really isn't as bad :/ The music and gameplay is really cool in this and I recently gave it a replay and its still cool :D I would recommend it for oldschool PS1 fans :]

To be honest I actually like the music a lot. they fit pretty much everywhere the tracks are used. However I do feel that some tracks could have been utilized better. As for Characters, well I do like the designs, and the personality they give off, as well as the different fight styles, combos, etc. But the Voice acting is quite funny all things considered, especially in high adrenaline moments. Bosses are kind of bland, but I do like the fact that there aren't a ton of them, like in most other games. Overall its a well thought out game, but not a well put together game. I think if a remake were to be created, many of the issues this game suffers from would be a thing of the past, though I'd like to see the music remain, with maybe some alterations to a few tracks, and addition of more tracks.

I enjoyed this video about T.R.A.G - also knows as "Totally Rad Acronym Game". ...I am not sorry. Puns aside the game looks both interesting because of what it does with its gameplay but also troublesome since from the looks of it someone could get the feeling that this game controls like a tank...which is never a good thing. Maybe I will give this one a go in the distant future.

TRAG is a special ugly duckling, among the "so bad it's good" RE like games it's among my favorites next to Overblood

I'm hardly an expert on "RE me too games" but at the very least it was trying to be more original than Deep Fear on the Saturn.

***** Deep Fear was quite dreadful with it's babyface main hero and a grenade for everything.
