This game actually looks really good visually. The character models are highly detailed and even though they're kinda chunky, they don't just look like a bunch of blocks stacked on top of each other. It honestly looks better than MGS, even though that came out the same year and had a much larger budget. Or maybe it's just the bright colors TRAG uses. Everything in MGS is mostly shades of blue and gray so everything tends to blur together.

The "what grownups think what anime looks like when I was like 8" shonen art style. This game looks like Battle Arena Toshinden and Burning Rangers; a game I only know because of the theme sung by the Daytona guy.

I agree. This game may not be a masterpiece, but it is enjoyable for the most part. Sadly the lukewarm reviews by the critics, overshadowed it and faded it into the obscurity. I have the American release and I happy to have it in my collection. Except for the name, which is dumb. While in Japan and Europe is call Hard Edge, in the US the game is call T.R.A.G.

This looks like a good weekend game with the PS1 voice acting and cheesy plot. The way you described the puzzles actually has me interested. Also interesting is the character switching thing. I really love when games do that. In the mobile port of RE2 called Uprising, instead of separate campaign, you had to play both as Leon and Claire at the same time, switching from the menu. Somebody converted that Java game into am android one, and I found the apk back in 2011. It was the first classic RE game that I finished :P. Also, SunSoft was a pretty strong studio during the NES/SNES era. They've made the best Batman game out of the 8Bit/16Bit ones. "They look like anthropomorphacized Galaga ship" Holy shit, my sides.

Yeah for sure. It's about 4 to 5 hours long as well, so you could totally play through it in a weekend. Also, I was actually watching old HVGN videos yesterday, and found out that Sunsoft made Journey To Silius as well. Which is one of the few NES games I'm actually interested in trying. So I may have underestimated them a little bit.

I remember playing this game a couple years ago, gotta get around to finishing it sometime! The Togusa Building always reminded me of the Nakatomi Building from Die-Hard, and how you made your way through the structure mirroring the progression of the film. The dub always gave me a good laugh, lol. How's that Dynasty Warriors review coming along?

I haven't started working on it. Typically, for me to start reviewing something, I need to have a good idea for an intro. Be it a skit, or just a funny way to talk about the game's development. And I can't really force that. One day an idea'll just pop into my head and then I start writing. So far, no ideas have popped up for Dynasty Warriors :/

You know what would be awesome? Given your love for the PS1, it would be nice to branch out into reviewing some Saturn stuff, such as Deep Fear and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Mednafen is the emu I'd reccomend.

I would be interested for sure. While I've heard that Saturn emulation is still a bit shakey, I'll see if I can give it a try in future. I don't need it to be a 100% perfect emulation obviously, but keeping in mind I also need to capture the footage, I'd at least like it preform ok. ...then again, I soldiered through D2 at sub 30 fps with texture glitches, so I've certainly done with worse haha

I actually really enjoyed this game when it came out..the graphics are amazing for the time, the music is good, there is alot of detail to the layout/rooms and the characters are likable and interesting . It's good in my opinion!

This is one of the few Resi-likes (or if we're RPS/IGN, "RESIDENT EVIL 'EM UP!!!!!) that I could see myself playing. I could also see myself not playing it because if a game doesn't feel like melted butter across marble, I don't have the patience for it. Gonna watch more of your videos now, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Sunsoft was actually pretty prolific back in the bay for franchises like Blaster Master, Aero The Acrobat, and some individual games like Gimmick and Journey To Silius(This one of which started development as a Terminator game). Currently Inticreates owns their IPs as is evident by the Blaster Master Zero trilogy. God I wish they'd make Aero 3.

Mostly through watching other KZbin channels. For instance, I found this one through a channel called Retsupurae, who short LP style series making fun of weird old adventure games. I also find games while doing research for stuff I"m already reviewing. Even if I don't talk about it in the video, I always research the devs a little bit, and look at what they've made in the past. Pretty much every Japanese studio made an RE ripoff at one point or another, so I'm bound to find those every time haha

I tried this game is totally in the fall the character control mode of the character is close to 0 when you have to do when I will have to eliminate an enemy then it is a pain in the ass because you have to aim and it is very difficult this thing I thought it would do this automatically But don't do it to me You turn the character left to right to hit the point the point the point where the character is to hit the enemy if it were somewhere in the area to aim It would be something else but you have to come to that point as if you're still shooting at the archery just like that you have to be on that point It's awful down it's not good

So I've returned to this video after getting both Galerians and T.R.A.G. in the mail. I haven't played them because I plan to stream them at least partially. The reason I came back to this comment section though is to point out on the case it says this game is for 1or2 Players. I assume this is because of the characters being in pairs, so they are kind of hinting to switching with a friend when you switch characters?
