The first song I played on my new electric guitar He is about 50 years old I'm 62 years old and I play guitars 53 years The first group on vinyl LP was the best of T.Rex I still love this song today.🎉

Brilliant off the cuff bass line by Steve; that guy was a master of his craft yet never got any credit except from Tony Visconti, a bass player himself, who was in awe of Steve.

Steve Currie was certainly an underrated talent, much like Dee Murray, bassist with Elton John. It just proves that behind most major stars, there was an equally great band.

I think Marc really did know Steve’s worth - to fill the void when Steve quit the band just look who was brought in to fill his shoes 🎸🎸🎸

I only care about a guitarist that plays with his heart. Mr. Bolan passed the Heart Test with flying colors. My brain says this is great and that’s all I need. Great channel. Thank you.

Lyrics Torch girl of the marshes Her kiss is a whip of the moon Dawn's damsels are dancing To the hum of her sunny young tune Gems hemmed in the heart's head The shield of the rivers is hers She one told me to think white And the night disappeared like a bird Hold the glove of gold behind you Love the glove of Truth.

Elemental Child marked the transition from Acoustic Mystic to full-on Electric Warrior, just as the name was being abbreviated from Tyrannosaurus Rex to T.Rex. The enjoyment on Marc’s face as he played his electric ‘teardrop’ guitar is beautiful to see, the concentration on Micky’s face as he plays bongos and the professional ease of Steve’s bass playing, show what was about to come from this amazing band. The really sad thing here, however, is this song is played by 3 members of the 4 original T.Rex members, and those three have all now left us. Only the wonderful Will Legend remains now.

This is the full might of the Lore Leige and cohorts that prevent the rumbling spires from being overtaken by the inglorious Dworns Thank the elves and the alchemists And never ever forget the Unicorn Only is manifest to one with a pure heart and soul
How could anybody listen to this and think that Marc was NOT a good guitarist?

No disrespect to Bill, but there’s something about the short-lived three piece that was later lost. Perhaps it’s that it’s very similar to the great Bolan/Took line-up at the point at which Steve was playing both bass and drums (not simultaneously obvs) and Bolan was rediscovering amplification.
