Tony Visconti did a phenomenal job putting the finishing touches on this track. It's absolutely magical.

The last part of the song is so sad, but so brilliant. I love this. I feel so sorry about what happened to Beltane, but the fact that the dinosaurs begun as Beltane ended is such a cool way to end the song, and this awesome story. It brings one to tears, and really makes you think.

My toddler falls regularly asleep to this and demands "again"! when it stops! It could have been beautiful if it were published, in the words of Tony Visconti.

Thank you forever for posting this. I had 'The words and music of Marc Bolan' back in '79 where I first heard and loved this. It has gone through my head and my being so many times since but I never imagined I would be so lucky to hear it again in this life! Thank you again and I know Marc is smiling.

I'm lucky enough to own one of the first 100 10"gate-fold sleeve singles. I've played it around 4 times since I bought it when it was released.. Google the artwork and the book that came with it...it's wonderful. Lithons look cute coming out of theirs eggs. :0)

That was a sad day and I still think of him regularly. I had a black arm band on at school, a punk not afraid to like Marc and Bowie. Would Msrc have ever got this sort of genius back? There were glimmers of hope. I'm sure if he got Tony V back the hits and albums would return - the standard I of Electric Warrior and the Slider. Marc was better when hungry. Super stuff I have the gatefold sleeve so where

It's ironic that a masterpiece like this has 223 views and the newest Lil' Wayne garbage has 100 million. At least 223 people get it (though in all probability, a significant portion of that number is accumulated from people replaying this video several times, so that number is more like 75)

Marc was a one off. Never to be seen again. Enjoyed this work back in 77. The man was a genius. I know 99 percent of Marcs songs word for word. See you maybe in the next world.
