Türkiye removed from financial crimes watchdog’s ‘grey list’

The international crime watchdog has removed Turkiye from its so-called "grey list" of countries requiring scrutiny over its financial affairs. Turkiye has been grey-listed since 2021, but the news comes as a boost to the country's economic turnaround plan. The announcement was made after a meeting between the Financial Action Task Force and Turkish Authorities to assess the country's progress in fighting financial crimes.
