The whole world knows about the Ramjenmabhumi verdict. Carrot and stick policy was applied here. The carrot policy was that RS seat for Ranjan Gogai, post retirement posts and promotions to others. This is called carrot policy. The stick policy was that one woman employee of SC was given a molestation complaint against Ranjan Gogai . A three member SC judges dismissed the complaint stating that no proof in the complaint but no action against that woman employee, no criminal action , why? How dare a woman employee had given a false complaint against none other than the then CJI and escaped from action. This is called stick policy.
