Fantastic question Rachel! We typically use size medium for an accurate representation of the graphic sizing to the apparel and the ability to fit it into the photo without needing a step ladder or stool to stand on. Also, for any showroom displays or photos on a mannequin, medium t-shirts fit the best on most displays.

White shirts are definitely a little trickier, but the same concepts still apply. Using an off-white or colored background helps a lot (you can buy rolls of colored paper at almost any craft store).

How do I make sure that the color of a Tshirt is the same with the one appearing on the phone when using Huawei p40?

Try to match the colors and lighting to what your eyes see in the same room when you're standing near the shirt like we showed in the video. If your phone doesnt have the lighting and color controls that the iphone has, there are tons of 3rd party apps for photo editing.

The problem I have is I do flat lays with props. So the t-shirt is not the only item I am photographing. If I lighten the t shirt to get the correct color, it changes the other items to the wrong color.

Hey Barbra, try adding more light if you can- The more light you can get on the subjects that you're photographing the better your colors will be. Of course, with high contrast (like a white shirt and a dark prop) You can use the HDR photo setting on your phone to reduce the contrast and get a more natural look.

Hey quanathan, you can share any photos of your setup with us over on our instagram or facebook pages and we can try to help out! A couple tips that could help: 1. Be sure you have enough light and a clean, solid background. 2. Using the foamboard to bounce the main light source we were able to help with the shadows and be sure the backdrop had nice, even light. 3. To get the background be pure white you may have to adjust the highlights and shadows on your phone, or with a DSLR and a photo editing app. 4. Pulling the exposure controls while you're taking the photo (like Dave shows in the video) really helps the picture look more like the shirt in real life.
