I have been putting off making mine for years. I just pulled my box out a couple days ago and I got so overwhelmed! Thank you for making a quick easy simple steps video! I feel way more prepared.

Nancy, I have watched you for years and I love how you make all of the projects so accessible and not as overwhelming by simplifying them and then showing how it's done. Lots of people learn different ways and I think you're great!! Thank you for this video and for all the years!!!! ❤️

Love the video! I'm not a quilter, nor really a sewer, but was asked to make a tshirt blanket for graduating granddaughter, so am willing to try. as I can sew a straight line (lol). Your hint of using the fuseable interfacing makes sense. Since I don't want to quilt it, can I just sew a blanket to the back, with binding for the edges? I'm wondering whether it will come apart from the back if there is no stitching throughout the blanket?

How did it go? I'm getting ready to start a couple for my nieces very soon. They have so many t-shirts I might have to put them on the front and back.

When making t-shirt quilts, I stabilize the whole shirt b/c I use all the T-shirt in my quilts for smashing s and such. That way I don’t have to go back and do it later.

I get really depressed in the winter, so I decided to find a hobby to do. I decided on making a t shirt even though I've never sewn in my entire life. I'm getting fairly good at hand sewing the shirts together but I'm having a problem that I cant figure out how to fix. When I get to the part where I'm sewing the corners with 4 shirts together, I just cant seem to get them straight. Can anyone offer any ideas to help me with this problem. I really like making it but I don't want to get frustrated and quit because I cant to my shirts to line up. Please offer any suggestions. THANKS

Some friends of mine quilt,(I don't) and they instructed me to cut the tshirt squares first before using the fusible interfacing. :( I am finding myself doing double work and I'm a beginner. I also have some t-shirts that don't follow the 12.5x12.5 block that I purchased and want to include the tshirts(special) that have to be cut larger. How do I proceed? Tips please. Thanks!!!!!

+Michelle Thomas cut it to size you can get out of it --then you might have room to cut a couple of the others smaller to make up the difference

@@margaretcurry8414 Oh my goodness I am so deeply deeply sorry. I was so frustrated trying to figure out how to make a quilt for someone and let my frustration overpower what it important which is life and love. I am deeply sorry for your loss from the bottom of my heart. And I'm grateful for her life and wisdom she shared here. I can't apologize enough. That is not my normal disposition. I hope you find peace and connection with her soul if your beliefs allow for that....but mostly peace and love. My sincerest apologies.
