LaFleur was the passing coordinator for the 9ers, it's not shocking he would stubbornly do this. His play calling yesterday was absolute SHIT....after that egregious first interception, he should've immediately scaled back the passing game and forced the running game even if it wasn't working because eventually it would've. What's infuriating is the better team LOST yesterday and to that fkg team no less.

This is still AT LEAST an 8 win team. Which a lot of fans would've gladly signed up for in the off season. On top of that I think they can steal a game or two and sneak into the post season. But doing so while your qb is stinking it up is fool's gold, considering that whole point of this season is to see if Zach is the guy, which is losing steam week by week.

I believe he is simply overthinking things. He needs to be reminded that he does not need to do that. Keep it simple and make mental notes of what plays work and which don't. He will get better, and manage the offense better. We fans, most of which understand this, will be rewarded with better play, and winning games. Us panicking solves nothing. It only gives us ulcers. He needs to be patient, with himself. We should do the same.

The coach should have conversations with him between bad plays so that he doesn’t repeat them again; Zach needs on the field counseling. He should be told to count to 5; if no available plays, run for positive yardage or throw the ball 50 yards out of bounds.

I totally understand Tierney's frustration. Zach Wilson's performance was poor and the main reason why the Jets lost. We need to see development, progress, and improvement from him. Right now, I'm just not seeing it. This is a young football team that has the talent to make the playoffs, However, that is bot going to happen if Zack Wilson continues to play like he did yesterday. Those 3 interceptions were all absolutely atrocious.

Kurt Warner and Steve Young both say Zach's footwork and mechanics is the source of his inaccuracy on short throws and the throws that sail. Zach is not getting good QB position coaching, imo.

Tierney is 100% correct. The week before Fields led the Bears to a sounding defeat of the Patriots in Foxboro. The Jets exceedingly have more talent than the Bears. Not to say Fields is a superstar but his QB performance is superior to Wilson’s. Take into consideration Fields first season his coach was horrendous and ultimately fired. Now he has to learn a new system with different terminology. In the Bears loss to the Cowboys this week. Fields was 17-23, 2 passing td’s, one rushing TD and a QBR of 120. All this without a #1 receiver and an offensive line ranked 32. He has been sacked 32 times so far this season which leads the NFL. Wilson should have progressed much more than where he is at present. I don’t believe he should be benched. The Jets need to evaluate his progression. Another lost season is no sacrifice considering I’ve endured more than 50 failed seasons as a Jets fan.

Jones is in year four and if the D and running game doesn't win the game (and that includes Jones being part of the running game) the Giants are in a bad way. And no, ONE more WR isn't going to fix Jones. It's year four and best he does is if he can run when his first read isn't open or if it's a designed run. Yesterday the Seahawks took away his running and sat down on Barkley (the biggest threat by a huge margin the Giants have) and the O scored 6 points. That Barkley TD run was a defensive score, no credit to the O for that.

I’ll be honest. I’ve said this after the 2021 draft and I’ll say it again. The Jets drafted the wrong guy. They should have drafted Justin Fields with the second overall pick. Justin Fields to me is better than Zach Wilson & I thought he was better than him in college. This is why. He was more NFL ready than Zach Wilson was to me. I felt Zach Wilson was a project quarterback coming out of college.
