Mid May in Rome 2023. Endless rain all day. Not a problem if you have rain resistant shoes but make sure to bring 1 or 2 spare pairs. Good thing with the rain is that there will be under 50 people at Trevi Fountain after 10pm.

Actually, looking back at some photos taken at the time, there were less than 25 people. On a clear night, I expect it would be packed with several hundred people.

​@@bmrmamma It's packed like sardines, when the weather is fine to cloudy. However, it seems to be a very rainy period in the middle of May (at least) sometimes lasting for most of daylight. Perhaps it's different in June, but bring along 1 or 2 spare pairs of shoes just in case.
