I think, 2 things you can look at to counter the nocturne prio is: 1. An early game jungler, who can do a lot pre 6 or perhaps even invade the enemy jungle to force nocturne lvl 6 to be delayed. 2. Bot lane pairing to survive the nocturne/ori can be very good as well (like kalista/renata, kaisa/alistar etc.) Also, Tahm Kench CAN work as well, but it can be hard to play out, since its hard to know who noc ults on, but if he can manage to position himself good enough for eating the target, he can be very valuable.

Impact is really concerning me rn. Hes not playing like himself, and honestly hes not even playing well right now. I have to imagine theres a mental aspect to this. Theres a lot of pressure on him and maybe its hurting his performance. The team does have almost an entire week to recover, and theu dont have to worry about going 0-3 anymore. So hopefully this will allow them to refocus. I feel TL still have a lot they can show. They just need to be able to get back on the horse.

For Azael: While I do not believe that your harsh criticism of Impact is unwarranted, NAmen did an interview with Spawn in which Spawn said he didnt believe Impact was playing horribly and doing nothing, as you and others have said. Spawn said that Impact was spending his time during the games cheating + pushing every wave in sidelane, and that because Impact was doing so, dyNquedo on the opposite side was unable to step up to catch his waves at all because if he does, he risks dying to Vi. Which means APA gets to outfarm and outlevel him. This makes it look like APA is carrying and Impact is doing nothing, but in reality, its Impacts sacrifice thats setting his team up for success. Also, if during the Gnar game, Impact had gotten 3 grubs during the initial contest, he wouldve been in a much better spot, since 2nd grub spawn is when Renekton is on his strong powerspike, and TL wouldnt have had to fight there, they could just give, so in that way, the team let him down. Spawn also said, to your credit, that Impact individually is playing at a 6/10, and he needs to be playing at an 8 or 9/10. So definitely not his best. But also definitely not as bad as you were originally saying. Just something that you may consider to give you some hopium. I think these guys are going to use the 5 days theyve been given and really grind it out. And I think that against GAM, we will see them return to form. We have faith in Liquid ❤

I think TL can be a dark horse if they DONT OVERCOMMIT to fights. Take a win and get a wave or get vision. They're victim of the classic of knowing they have the lead and then thinking they have to keep making big plays, which means they're kind of..ignoring their actually good macro plays. If they reign it in a bit I think they can get some upsets. Impact may be playing worse than usual for sure and APA has been having a few mechanics issues, but theyre good enough they can gain leads vs eastern teams at least. And they've shown they know how to cleanly end games. They just need to get out of their own heads a bit and MAYBE...reign umpti in a bit, you can tell how hyped and excited he gets, and throws 😂

Generic Brand DivePhoria with Drakos and I'm 100% here for it. Love the addition and everyone's takes on World's so far. 100% agreed with Azael on players/teams/coaches being unaware or unwilling to pull out niche picks (like Swain being really good into heavy melee/dive comps with Yone). I think in addition to being a good counter, it adds the extra advantage of catching players off guard since they aren't familiar with the matchup against a non-meta champ. A great example is G2 vs WBG when BrokenBlade pulled out Galio as a counter pick top into Rumble and solo killed him less than 5 minutes into the game.

I’d actually say that in the PSG game FLY needed *exactly* the kind of “chasing the 1%” playstyle bwipo went for. The combination of bwipo and inspared was what gave massu the space he needed to do work. Every single fight maple became a non-factor because bwipo would chase at him 2 towers in. As bad as the Jax was for Impact, that was like a Impact doesn't farm enough on carries type of thing and then doesn't really do as much. That we've seen plenty of already. The Gnar thing was much worse. Him stepping up too close to enemies in teamfights that he can be oneshot before transforming, him never being MegaGnar in teamfights, that's like basic Gnar stuff you should know by now.

The biggest issues with TL right now: impact is underperforming, hes getting caught out WAY more this worlds than he has in the past. I think thats a nerves thing, or theyre getting absolutely clapped in scrims and its ruining his confidence a bit. Its possible he can fix that before their next BO3. APA..from what it appears, either isnt able to or just isnt confident in picking yone. Which is a huge issue this worlds meta because yone seems to be THE pick/ban champ atm. The team as a whole has a fairly common issue with champion pool diversity but core is playing out of his mind They prio baron over soul and they overcommit to fights vs better teams. But these are issues that can be fixed. The fact they CAN trade with LPL/lck teams in the early game and have actually decent macro is a good thing. It sucks to say, but its a better sign that they throw leads than never getting them.

Like, Bwipo made multiple game winning plays in game 3 on renekton, no one else was willing to pull the trigger, and they would have most likely lost without the aggression of Bwipo. Even though he died early once, he still was way ahead of Gnar all game and lost almost nothing because he tp'ed back and caught the whole wave. The Darius game, Inspired literally didn't cover any dive and opted to take raptors when he was already level 6 (and so was darius) with busio coming. That easily could be a game winning fight. He was also a huge part of their game 1 win, do yall really think Massu would have been popping off so hard without the way Bwipo has been playing team fights?

that may counter the combo yes but then what? you still have a timer on zhonyas that they can abuse or bait out...even if your zhonyas doesn't get blown, now your adc has an ap item and they just focus the other carry that has actual damage items and 100-0 that one from a screen away...if he builds zhonyas too? they just go on the support - was it PSG that just focused nami once Lucian itemised? and now both of your carries are stuck on zhonyas and deal no damage just to mitigate a combo that the enemy doesn't even have to use, they can just use ori ult and noc ult around objectives in standard style and you are essentially thousands of gold behind
