Clean sweep by T1. Players from G2 just kept getting picked from overextending and bad positioning. GEN. G in the Grand Finals however, is a really huge threat and T1's kryptonite. The odds are on their favor but still hoping T1 wins this MSI.

How was it a clean sweep? All the games were very close and all ended because of a single mistake... T1 fixed their issues from their last three series and played way better than before (except Faker getting caught again and again), but it was still a very close series. In every game, G2 had a moment when they could win the game but just failed to execute it.

Getting bodied this hard by LCK 2nd seed is a reality check for the west. We still have a lot to catch up on before we can truly compete. Props to G2 and TL they both performed better than my expectations at the start though. They absolutely shit the bed in the second series, but I don't think that's enough to say TL is better than G2. Been following LOL main events for some 10 yrs now and way way back was actually rooting for western teams against Asian regions since more competition equals more entertainment the way I see it. However, as time passed the sheer arrogance of western teams (NA, EU) grew more and more annoying - combined with tons of imports and barely any homegrown talent. To the point when their “we’re the main characters” narrative doesn’t even add to the hype anymore. More like shows how full of themselves they are with very little skill (in comparison to LPL and LCK) to back up the bark. By now I just wish that for once western representatives came to play being more humble and more aware of their actual place in the hierarchy. And honestly say that they’re not the main characters but will still try their damnest to turn the tables for the sake of their supporters who’ve been putting trust in them for god knows how long. This wouldn’t hurt the anticipation and the entertainment part, but would proly make teams like G2 a bit more likable. Otherwise they’re just clowns time and time again.

Funniest series this MSI. Caps had the audacity to say they were "Main Characters". They beat T1 ONCE and thought they were hot shit. Too bad T1 did what G0 can't do and that's adapt and play consistent to ACTUALLY be Main Characters. T1 had them do circus tricks with how well REAL main characters adapt AND pulled themselves from a deficit 2 times after going even the first game. They won' learn from this, because they have ALREADY done this multiple times and they KEEP CHOKING. BB being sad is cringe since this is G2's MO, G2 is known for winning 1 game against the best team and then not doing anything to stay on top or be ready to adapt mid series.
