T5 cupholder repair

In this video I am showing you how to repair the cupholder (there is another video on how to disconnect the wiring correctly rather than just cut them). They also sell new replacement cup holders, however, If like me you want to repair them then this is the video for you!

Just found your channel - great videos! One of my cup 'arms' is broken in half. Do you know if they sell that part alone? I watched your video of the whole cup holder replacement and didnt fancy it.

Not that I know of no, There are companies that will sell the whole assembly, but not come across just an arm yet. thanks :)

ah, that will be good old ebay for you! just search for a double usb 12v on there. i have just changed mine to a 3.1amp.

@@davedoesit Yes, sorry I should have made a better effort in looking before asking. Like the removal tips BTW, I'm going down the same removal and repair process and wouldn't have though to swap out the fag lighter if I hadn't watched your vid
