It fits perfectly and is super useful for the clothes, you can store right at the top but also you get a space in front door larger items if needed. Happy camping

Hi Kevin, I'm just about to embark on the same, will I need a different controller if I'm going for 3 panels? Also does your Delta 2 keep cool enough and vent ok in the boot?

If you get your panels from roger then you should get the right Mppt from the get go. If you are going it alone then go for 100/30 at least. Yes keeps cool enough not a problem from my experience. all the best

Why not charge from Solar direct to the Ecoflow?, then run the Eco flow to the EHU of the van. This way you will be using the full quicker charge from the Solar to the Ecoflow, which tops up your OnBoard Leisure Battery and also provides 240V/12V to the existing Vans sockets. The Ecoflow would fully charge in about 7hrs from the 200W solar on a decent day, and no need for the Solar controller/wiring etc. The EcoFlow already has all that built in.

Hey, the main reason was to keep both the leisure batteries topped up so they don't go too low. The ecoflow top up works great as a secondary power source. I tried using the ecoflow to plug directly into the van so can use all the internal plugs etc which worked a treat to boil kettles and top up both leisure batteries if they get to low on a weekend away without having to run the engine.

@@andybearyaki cheers for the reply. I'm using a mini in the rear wardrobe on my Cali Exclusive and plug in via the EHU. They are a great solution, can be off grid for many days with this and the Leisure battery.

Hi Kevin, Just wondered how you were getting on with the solar? would have you got the 3 panel version on hindsite? also happy with the ecoflow or would you also have gone for a river pro 2 etc? love the van and your additions :)

Hey Reverb, solar has been good keeping the battery topped up however obviously over winter needed some topping up now and then. I think more is always better so yes prob would have gone with 3 just to help on those cloudy days but again prob depends on your situation. I am happy with Ecoflow however i recently sold the mini and got myself the delta 2 just to cover all bases :). thanks i am always looking at making the Van more like home from home espcially when away on longer trips in Europe with 2 kids.

Hey Kev, did you manage to run a power extension from the ecoflow in the closet behind the units to where the existing socket is? How did you get on? Did you need to drill any holes?

Hey sorry bebeboouk missed this message. In short nope, I couldn't find a way around. However I bought a delta 2 so doesn't fit in the cupboard anymore so I added an adaptor under the rear seat.

Yes was the two tone bayleaf green and candy white. I think they have now discontinued this combination on 2023 models.

Please can you confirm that your charging the ecoflow from the solar via your charge controller? So it still charges the leisure battery and ecoflow at the same time? Have you put a 12v socket on the cable from the charge controller to the ecoflow the use ecoflows 12v charge cable?

Hey Tim - Correct using a 12v from the charge controller which then connects to the ecoflow. However you do get a higher charge from the front (under chair) 3 pin (although you need to reduce the power down on the ecoflow app) and of course the 3 pin under the chair is not great at keeping the plug connected (keeps popping out for some reason probably bad design).
