We took the opportunity to test the 4Motion Transporter T6 and Amarok out in the beautiful Peak District in the recent snow we have had. ❄☃🌨

I was actually expecting a versus, but it was essentially a show and tell of each vehicle and their upgrades. Hands down the T6 is what took my fancy, just not in all black.

I am very confident but amarok isn't DSG... just good and reliable ZF 8 speed.

Well done video. The VW bus looks pretty cool too. But it is the wrong variant for the comparison. ABT is the completely wrong tuner for off-road driving. VW works with the Seikel company for such operations. (For me personally this is too expensive, I rebuilt everything myself).

No. Just a regular Auto. I think he got confused since ever other VW has a DSG

retrofitting LEDs is quite an effort and a significant cost. Generally more than the original option.

Hey Mate the amarok is not DSG it is an 8 speed conventional auto.

For the sake of accuracy the amarok does not have a dsg gearbox

Having literally just watched it, it does indeed have a DSG gear box. Plus they said it’s an 8 speed, which is not a manual box that VW make.

@@chm1701 I have one it's not a dsg at all it's a torque converter ZF 8 speed similar to what is being used in many other manufacturer cars.
