T7 20$ DIY Windscreen Mod

I'm 6'0" (32" inseam) and the stock windscreen gave me some buffeting hiccups. I personally like 100% fresh air at my face, so didn't want to make my windscreen any taller. I could have just hacked down the OEM screen, but figured for the low cost.....let's take a gamble. Removing ~3" from the top of the screen gives a darn near perfect air flow right at my face. Helmet is nice and quiet now. No issues at all. Wind is just kept off my chest, perfect for cruising.

Thanks! I saw someone on ADVRider had chopped theirs down even shorter than this. Figured it was worth giving a try. I'm used to commuting on an enduro with no wind protection, so the T7 with even this screen is dreamy.

Great idea! I prefer the clean air hitting my helmet over partial like stock. Much more comfortable than stock for me. 👍

Someone also suggested if you want even cheaper and easier, just use the windscreen template on a 5 gallon bucket. Not see-through, but basically the right curve to it. 5$, even better!
