If you take the aluminum sleeves out of the rear seat mount where the bolts go through, turn them over and using the same bolts, bolt them to the frame, you can just pop the seat on and off without ever having to unbolt them again. Cheers.

Installed my Camel ADV Tail Tidy. Great video instructions and pieces fit perfect. I am so happy to be rid of those Christmas lights all the crap hanging of the back. I use my T700 20% asphalt and 80 gravel/off-road fire roads, narly quad trails and select single track. It will be so nice not to have the pumpkins dangling from the wires on the back end every time I run gravel or off-road. BravoTeam Camel ADV ! Also, as a dirt rider super happy with the Camel ADV skid plate. I am putting on your clutch assist and brake pads next. Trust me people, I am not an aftermarket junkie. I have been setting up my enduro bikes, mostly KTM for decades. Good quality aftermarket parts are critical when you are riding remote in the Canadian Rockies. Cheers!

Good video overall, and a great product. I really appreciated the quality and finish. A question and some suggestions - You've changed your design since this came out. Now you're including two little white nylon washer to include when mounting the license plate light mount. Where do they go? There is just a sticker on the bag and nothing else to go on. It wasn't apparent to me which side of the mounting stud they go on. I'm guessing under the nuts, but dunno. I didn't even use them, but I guess they must have some benefit. For suggestions - time to update this video. As with the spacers, your product design has changed and you are including the ability to reuse the stock signal lamps. You are also including the tear drop adapter pieces to mount up aftermarket LEDs, which is great. But they are not mentioned anywhere. For wiring the LED tail lights in - the left side is a light color connector and the right side is a black connector. The grounds are the black wire for both. When you are updating your video next, it would be really helpful to have some still shots of each area of the bike that is disassembled with some circles around the fasteners to remove. Also, it would be helpful to have a list of tools needed. Instead of using a T30, I used an 8mm socket on all the little gray screws. I think I used 8mm and 10mm sockets, a 4mm and 5mm allen, and some other miscellaneous hand tools. Oh, and it would also be helpful to let people know about the seat hack where you pull the metal inserts out of the rider seat grommets, flip them upside down, and screw them into place with the button bolts. Makes getting the rider seat on/off immensely easier (the pillion seat locks it down, so it's not loose and flying off)

Just finished my install using this video. Overall great product and decent video. Good enough for a non mechanic to complete the work. Couple of notes. I bought the 4x5 oem blinker kit for the t7. I had trouble in 2 areas not covered in the video. 1. When reinstalling the tail light there was wiggle after tightening down. I found plastic washers in my kit and used those. Worked great. 2. I am one of the weirdos that likes the oem blinkers. After install, because the tidy is.much shorter than the oem rear end, i was left with lots of wiring. I zip tied them nearby as best i could. Im not mechanically gifted, even worse with electrical so a little info on what to do with all the extras woild be nice. Overall i am finally happy with the t7 rear end now. Thanks for the vid

Thanks for a great vid. I've purchased the same indicator lights that you installed in this project. I was going to replace just the indicators and mod the stock tail assembly; but this changed my mind. With the multitude of fasteners required to complete this job, I would never want to get into all of it more than once. So... It looks like I have to order this tidy, the new flasher unit, and be done with it all in one go

Great company and great video. Didn’t leave out anything to make me guess. No issues with the tidy and getting my new signals installed - just a lot of stuff to undo but it’s not as bad as it seems. In case anyone was interested I got my signals from 12oClockLabs. These are plug and play and easy to install. You will need to get adapters/bracket for front and back which they also sell. U will need to get the relay…I forget where I got mine but it will hyper flash if just the front is done. It won’t flash at all if u have both and front and rear signals without the relay. The relay is plug and play so easy. Special thanks to Camel ADV. I asked if they could send me some extra stickers which I have adorned on my T7

I had a GS that I found had unusally thick plastic and I've seen Triumph tidies and the amount of plastic. They really seem well built for vibration and harness. When I had a dirt bike I took off any number panels that would allow a good grip on the frame when maneuvering. Silicone greased all the exposed connections.

Hi! I installed your tail tidy on my T7 and noticed that it left a few openings/holes underneath, just behind the taillight, where water/mud/dirt can easily get through and under where the wiring & connections are of the blinkers, taillight, numberplate light. After riding like this for a few thousand k’s among which in rain and offroad, I disassembled the seat fairing plastic parts in order to take a look and indeed, there was a lot of sand underneath and around the wiring. I cleaned it and took some ducktape to cover the holes. Is this a known issue or did I do something wrong when assembling your tail tidy? Thank you & best ragards! By the way, the tail does look tidy now but my back is not so tidy anymore…

With or without the factory licence plate/signal light mount, the LED tail light is 100% sealed on it's own.
@michaelhenschel43563 жыл бұрын
@@CamelADV Sorry, I didn't explain correctly I suppose. I wasn't talking about the tail light itself. I was rather talking about the whole rear. There are left and right gaps near the tail light that are open because the Tail Tidy doesn't cover the gaps like the OEM tail does.

@martin48193 жыл бұрын
I’m 182 cm and can easily get the balls of my feet down but can’t flat foot the bike. You would probably be on your tip toes which would make it tough to walk the bike while seated. Honestly, u get used to the height pretty quick and adjust things accordingly. I think u are still tall enough that u could get a foot down without leaning the bike over too much if u had to. They have a lowering kit but of course u will lose some suspension travel.

Yeah, my Canadian T7 arrived. I was hoping to get one in the second wave of bikes that are arriving as I already have the Euro-spec bike. That would have given someone else an opportunity to get a bike and would have given me a bit more room in my already undersized shop. My dealer said they expected the second wave in early August but they weren't absolutely confident in that so they strongly suggested that I take it now so I risk being T7-less when I have to crush the Euro bike. It worked out well as they ended up having a spare red and white after someone else cancelled their pre-order.
