I think the way you explain damage buckets is really nice! I feel like most people just have an image on the screen and talk about damage buckets and the multipliers. Whereas you talk about the damage buckets and then go over what damage goes into each bucket and then provide examples of the damage and were it can come from.

I play on eternal realm, and i gotta say the only dagger worth using is condemnation when you use a combo pt build. I use a sword as second weapon, but dagger weapon mastery adds alot of dmg to health enemies also. Bc Im hitting harder, they are usually injured after a 3 combo pt hit, which then gives +13% crit chance to injured so they get finished off so fast also. Feels so much more stabby. I lost dmg on skill tooltip, but x40% on 3 combo pt twisting blades hits w the other stats works pretty well. For me, went from 1.5 mil max hit dmg to about 2.2mil.

I use simmilar setup exept for ur deathtrap i use rain arrow with all imbuents in it.. and have a 1 out of 4 atks triggering poisin/deathtrap or calltrops .. but youre dmg output is sick. So i wil try to kopie it and see if i get further. Wil let you know results

During my testing the unique rogue daggers end up doing more damage than almost any sword I have gotten. Due to the unique perk of condemnation the damage increase seems to be higher than using a sword in that spot. Mind you the ashera's is marginally behind swords but it is weaker.

Of course this is just a general analysis, not accounting for potential unique perks on specific items, such as the condemnation. If you like combo points then feel free to use it. I personally hate them and I rather increase my damage by other means, such as focusing on core skill damage, etc.

You can of course use more armor and DR, if you need it for higher tiers. Some paragon options were shown in the other build videos. Go for DR on vulnerable and DR on elites on paragon.

I use ashearas kanjar and condemnation for my twisting blades rogue do the unique aspects on those make up for the damage I’m losing not using swords?

I would drop the Kanjar for a perfect sword with vulnerable, core skill damage and critical damage. Not sure if your build heavily depends on combo points, but if you need it then keep condemnation.

So as a Posion Combo point Twisting Blades Rogue. I should not be using Asheara's Khanjar and a sword but both weapon should be swords. Or Condemation and a sword or Both Condemation and Asheara's Khanjar ? And I dont play season

The unique items can of course be used for their powerful effects, but In general, you should rather use swords, yes.

@@Chrivs If you use combo points, then keep it. As that will give you a multiplier. I have not made a poison build yet, atleast not one with poison traps. The Paragon layout will work for poison imbuement too.

Question: 1. Is having Dex on gear / weapons not needed due to nodes? 2. Are Vulnerable / Damage to close best in slot for twisted blades build? 3. What are the most unnecessary stats for the twisted blades build. I'm currently at 60 lvl

Vulnerable, crit damage and core skill damage are always the recommended stats for your weapons, the 4th stat can be dexterity or all stats, depending on what you need.

I will try your max damage paragon board but first i need to find sword because i play with daggers ... i hope it fix my low damage im currently lvl 100 and its a bit ennoying to not clear dj 100

Add some armor. You, can check the build videos I made. You can use the condemnation, if you play with combo points, however I dont like them and they are not necessary to deal high damage, if you follow the tips you wont need them either.

@@T7PDM yeah I followed a build guide on max roll and my character mashes level 60 NM’s but I can’t even touch NM 100’s… I’m level 98 with only 599 Dex and no adds from my items only paragon points, all my gear is mid maxed with the best stats from each category like DMG reduction from paints ext, ext

@@T7PDM ok I see how now, you have Dex on your weapons but I have Dmg to Close Enemies….. is that a mistake? Will Dex allow me to do more overall Dmg eventhough I’m a twisted blades rouge and though Dmg to close was important??? Please help

Replacing vulnerable with all stats is pure bollocks, last comment got deleted because it was ill advice! The perfect stats are: - Crit damage - Vulnerable damage - Core skill damage - Dexterity / All stats. You dont replace any of the first 3 with all stat, just get it as a 4th stat if you need it. Also core skill should be preferred over any situational bonus, such as close, distant or else, the radius of close is fairly limited and even with TB you are better using core skill damage, as you want to create distance to your enemies to increase the damage of the traveled blades.

@@T7PDM oh I def want Core, Vul and Crit over everything, I would never replace any of those my question is if I replace say +70% Dmg to Close with say +100 Dex instead will my DMg actually go up because my base multiplier is now higher or will the % of close area Dmg actually go down??

+3 on amulett and +3 from Skyhunter, if you use a special build I made: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pobFkmVjna6IfM0 Aside from the general assessment that crossbows are always better, this particular case is crazy. It is the only reason ever to use a bow. It will also make your thorns deal critical damage.
