Its odd to me how often players go tower and then delay fletching and bodkin. The extra range is critical for the towers to actually cover anything.

Even if archers become "the meta", I'd still prefer that over tower spam. At least you can reliably counter archers with skirms or scouts.

What was interesting here that T90 didn't mention is that Biry only gets fletching right at the end there. We've seen how extra range is much more powerful with the nerf, so Biry was doing the tower strat with one hand tied behind his back for some reason.

I foresee a nerf coming for unit range too at some point. The chokepointy nature of these maps as well as the building nerf certainly favors archers a lot more than standard games do.

36x36 tiles is the smallest map size the game can produce with a *random map script*, which is what these videos are all using.

nope that is not possible even with unlimited size. placed units take a full square each, so 1x1 would allow only 1 unit there. on a normal nomad you can fit 2 players in no less than 3x3, though a modded version with only 1 or 2 vils could go down to 2x2.
