What a game! I thought that Hoang was dead. But he held on, was very patient and did excatly what we get tought all the time. COUNTER ATTACK! The funniest part is that he build 6 TCs and a while back he never build a second one. For the past like 6-12 months Hoang has been grinding a lot and got really versatile.

Phosphoru was basically feeding lots of monks and huge numbers of vills to hoang on several occasions due to lack of attention at a given area. Those 3 monks getting mangonel'd, Phosphoru sending those vills to chop wood near hoang's base where they immediately got attacked, hoang sending crossbows to phosphoru's base near the end and picking off like 10 gold miners and another 15 who were idle at a depleted gold pile in the back, many monks and arambai being killed by hoang in transit due to gather points, hoang catching phosphoru's 3 monks unprotected with his crossbows while phosphoru was building that castle. Absent those things i think phosphoru would have won, gold became a major issue and monks cost a lot of gold.

You're expecting Hera-level multitasking from guys who don't even compete in tournaments. I thought that for their level, the mangonel micro was generally excellent, they focused their attention on that since a few bad shots lose you the game (not so when you lose a few reinforcements or villagers). And Hoang lost a lot of villagers and crossbows due to faulty gather points as well, plus he had way more idle eco if you look at the numbers. The wood villagers had been chopping for quite a while before they had to run, so I don't think that was important.

I'm hollering at the TV raid with those arambai!!! So many times they're just sitting around while the monks n catapult battle then when that last tc went down they just did nothing!! Also but for 30 seconds blue almost didn't make it to castle I think it was. Also couldn't knights have dealt with the catapults and archers??? If blues seige workshops went down it'd been it. This is why you don’t resign super early. If Hoang decided he was “dead” when T90 thought so he wouldn’t come back and win. If you’ve still got Eco you have a chance. Though he should’ve snagged some relics while he was at it. Why not free gold? Would’ve made things much easier for him with money in the bank the whole time

You'll never catch me rooting for Hoang, you'll struggle to catch me not rooting for Phosphoru. Hoang made a name laming people's boar, that's just being a douche. Phosphoru developed an actual strategy (oh, the horror, strategy in my Real Time Strategy game), that's an expression of skill and intellect. Sure, I'll bet it's tough and frustrating to fight Phosphoru, but it's also frustrating to deal with tower rushes, scout rushes, aggression in general, and Phosphoru's whole schtick is constant aggression. In a world full of Cheerio's he decided to be a Fruit Loop, and as a consumer, I'm quite glad for it. Love you Phosphu :D

Redphosphoru needs to make a habit of queueing vills. The latter quarter of the game would likely have been in his favor had he kept the TCs producing vils and scattering them around the map.

it doesnt help them too much, they take like 4 damage instead of 5. Its useful for skirms when fighting against archers though, skirms will take only 1 damage per hit instead of 2, thats when you see pros do it.

I am not sure about the precise numbers but you will get the idea: archers have 30 hp, sou you need either 6x 5 archers or 8 x 4 archers to one-shot an enemy archer, depending if he has defense or not. While mircoing, players click enemy archers one by one, which results in a bit of overkill when you have more then 6 or 8 archers. With only 5 archers, you two-shot enemy archers, no matter the defense upgrade. So having the defense upgrade or not only makes any difference if you are fighting vs a group of 6 or 7 archers (or very small numbers >3), with 8 or more archers they will one-shot your archers in any case.

@@send_love micro, at least when it comes to feudal age. Pros usually click single archers when fighting archer vs archer. If you do the math you will see that it makes only a difference if the enemy archer mass is precisely 6 or 7, because 8 or more archers will one-shot your archers anyways, and 5 archers will two-shot your archers anyways, despite armour.

Honestly Phosphoru would have won that if he just chased those cross bows with his arambai. He would have definitely killed them all before they got to his base. He respected them too much. Arambai melt xbow if you get in close especially if Hoangg didn't pay attention in time.

phosphorus does not have the ability to attack and defense well at the same time. So it is wise for Huang to try counterattack and challenge his ability on this. The result is rewarding as he kills almost all villagers
